The Honda project in Greensburg was extremely demanding because of its size and very tight schedules. Poindexter Excavating succeeded in meeting these challenges and even exceeded them. I have used Poindexter on a number of jobs the last three years including the Glendale Renovation.
This was a very complex job which includes a very complicated rework of existing LIVE underground utilities as well as installation of new underground. The project also included a large backfill backfill portion of over 100,000 CY of imported materials.
Due to the project being a working complex, it was extremely important that we had a contractor that could be flexible with last minute changes.
We also needed at times to accelerate certain portions of the project without affecting other portions of the work. Due to Poindexter’s size we were able to count on having all of the equipment or operators we needed even on short notice.
However, I have always felt like were we dealing with a small company due to the level of personal attention we received. I highly recommend Poindexter Excavating and will continue to use them on projects big and small.
